What I find interesting in the current left-right media arm wrestle is
what I see as editorial indifference across the media spectrum to news
that might be described as from the Left, or of interest to those who
follow the ideologies of the Left. I'm not talking Trotsky here. Rather,
those small-l liberal-minded folk who buy the old Chifflean concept of
the stronger helping the weak; putting an arm around life's stragglers;
and using the tools of government to offer those who need it a hand-up,
rather than a hand-out.
