Asked about his run-in with a Sydney taxi driver, Mr Latham said he was prepared for any government attacks against him. He said no-one in public life was perfect, and mistakes would be made. "The one perfect guy ... they strung him up, didn't they?" he said. "I can't claim to be any better than that. "In this job, inevitably in public life people make mistakes. None of us are perfect. "I'm not a white-bread politician, I'm not in that groove. I'll do things according to my own style." --- Well it looks like at worst we will be in for an entertaining political year.
