We had the 'Tent of Promise' come to our town, sponsored by a couple of pentecostal churches in Cowra. I didn't go to any of the events but from what I understand it is fairly typical pentecostal/tent mission stuff. I don't know how 'far out' they get. As I understand it, the penty churches were happy with what was presented and with the response they got.
If you are interested I could give you contact details for one of our local pentys and you can speak with them direct. Cheers Linz (Cowra, NSW) Psssst! Did you hear that Andrew Watts ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) said this: > Dear all > > Some churches in our town have received promotional material for a > travelling evangelist by the name of Pastor Barry Cunnington. He uses the > phrase 'Tent of Promise' in the promotional material as he travels around > with a giant tent for rallies etc. He is apparently from Qld.
