Another coffin nail into a church hierarchy that is so out of touch with reality that it will need a miracle to survive. The Jensens and EMU/RA supporters should take note.
Well, yes, maybe. But what claims to be the church in the 21st century will probably hang around for quite a while yet. The numbers will continue to get older and smaller. Piece by piece, the assets will be sold off to keep the rest of the show running. The mainly white male anglo-saxon hierarchy of the church will continue to make increasingly judgemental comments about the rest of society.
Why should the Jensen/Moyes/EMU/RA push take note? They seem happy enough finding new depravities in society which amplify their sense of superiority - as their church continues to shrink and to disengage even more from the society around them, as their disdain for plurality and diversity increases, so their sense of superiority should also increase.
