To my Dear Friends on the Insights List
It has been a long while since I have been brave enough to post a message to the list. I got rather a beating last year for standing by my beliefs in the bible. I was accused of being a fundamentalist because I professed the belief that the bible says that Jesus died and rose again, and that this was a real and physical event. Something my Christian friends take as an assumed belief for members of the Christian faith. I thought it might be helpful for you to see what a real fundamentalist is like to give you some perspective. Here is a good example

It goes without saying that I disagree with the views of this fundamentalist on almost all counts, as would any Christian. I am merely a Christian who believes in the death and resurrection of Jesus. This person is a genuine fundamentalist.
