Hello Judy,

I'll let those who are organising the event identify themselves (except I guess they 
are probably already on their way to Synod and so might not get your email until next 
week).

While I am not attending Synod myself and was not responsible for the brochure, I am a 
full supporter of the gathering at Synod as is Charis Faith Community 
(www.charisfaithcommunity.org.au) - a progressive Christian community I participate in.

I think you have a good point although personally I did not notice the lack of contact 
details when I put the brochure up on the Charis web site. As I understand, this is 
not a formal group (like EMU or RA) seeking to push a particular line. It is a few 
individuals of like mind gathering during the Synod meeting with an invitation for 
others to join.
