FWIW -

I ditched the Dreamhost attempt, and signed up with Slicehost - The
learning curve was pretty steep, but in 3 days I was able to get a
site up and running, and published on the web.

There was just too many problems with the shell access and dreamhost -
I didn't want to have to force it to work - instead I looked for a
place where I could have control of the server myself - of course this
means I am totally responsible for anything that happens, but I was
confident that with Slicehost's amazing customer serivce (yes it is
amazing), and with some personal help from some of the core members of
the Insoshi team, I could do it. And I did.

Insoshi is really a great product, but right now the largest barrier
to it's success as I see it is the ease of installation for the
hobbyist. As soon as it can be a one-click install, or at least easy
enough for the general user, I know it will totally take off.

Cheers,
E
