Hello all, I'm pleased to introduce Evan Dorn as the new maintainer of the Insoshi project. Evan will be taking over primary responsibility for the Google group, the GitHub account, and the Lighthouse issue tracker. I have known Evan for many years, and he has been involved in the Insoshi project from the start. Evan is a smart and capable programmer with a long history as a web developer, and he knows the Insoshi code base well. We're lucky to have him as maintainer.
I'd also like to give notice that the Insoshi community site at dogfood.insoshi.com will convert officially to a demo site as of February 1, 2010. This means that the data there will possibly be reset without notice (though I have no plans to do so). If you have any information there you want to save, copy it before that date. Anyone interested in following my post-Insoshi project should subscribe to the Ruby on Rails Tutorial news feed at http://feeds.feedburner.com/railstutorial. I expect to be releasing the first few chapters of my book-in-progress some time in the next few weeks at http://www.railstutorial.org/book, and I'd be delighted to count some Insoshi people among my early readers.
