"I Remember About Christmas" If you want to know what I remember about Christmas, here it is... My mom's arms around me. The warmth in the house. The food that we shared, even the greasy goose. The times that we had together. My first Christmas alone, I was 19 years old. The smiles on my childrens faces. The cold weather, the snow. Wrapping presents. Buying the tree. Decorating the tree. Being with my kids. Feeling sorry, for those less fortunate than I. I can't remember a gift that my children bought me, But I sure can remember the love that they gave. My most expensive gift.....I don't remember. My most precious gift....Love and the feeling of warmth. My most precious memory...Family gathered in the kitchen. So If the gift you bought, meant more to you than anyone else. Remember this, If you didn't feel love when you gave it, it really meant nothing at all. I've never been able to buy love, but I sure received a lot of love, when I deserved it. If Christmas finds you grumpy, then you never gave from the heart.....You gave from the wallet. And, believe me there is a difference. Merry Christmas to all. Your memory is yours. Make it what you want it to be.
