Greeting fellow inspiron users,
I am trying to understand how LILO works and how it is "called" at boot
time by the bios in the MBR (Master Boot Record), out of curiosity I would
actually like to see the MBR.
I'm not sure if that is the correct terminology or logic so please feel
free to correct my ignorace.
The howto which I read didn't explain in much detail how this works. So
Could anyone point me in the right direction? Or preferably explain this
process to me, and tell me how to see the MBR?
If it's not too much trouble of course.
