Greetings, Had Win95 & Slackware bootable through LILO just fine, until after doing a NortonAntiVirus Scan on C&D drives in WIn95, it wiped out mu LILO configuration. I cannot even see LILO prompt at boot time,and Linux partition is unusable. Tried Slackware boot disk and issued at boot: mount root=/dev/hda4 rw but this hung up on me... I need help SOS. My system config is Inspiron 3k with Win95(OSR2)+Slackware 2.0.30, partition is, hda1 win95 FAT32 C-drive hda2 extended hda5 win95 FAT32 D-drive hda3 linux swap hda4 linux native Out of curiosity, I booted thru Slackwar boot disk & loaded the root disk but "setup" couldn't detect linux native partition. An fdisk couldn't see any linux partitions. So much for Windoze!!!
