Hi,

I just installed RedHat 5.1 on my Dell Inspiron 7000 and am
troubles getting XF86 up and going...
My notebook has a ATI Rage Pro3D with 4MB.
The screen is a 1024x768 14.1" TFT.

The "best" results that I've achieved have been using the XF86
SVGA driver at 800x600, but the display is "split" it seems that
part of the display is missing and other parts are mirrored. Going
to 1024x768 causes (very) bad things to happen.

Can anyone help with the XF86Config file settings? Also:
Should I be using the XF86_SVGA server or the XF86_Mach64
server? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave Teter
