Sorry, I'm not on this mailing list or I would've responded sooner.
I looked through the archive and didn't see the solution I needed to
get it fixed. What it turned out to be was a problem with all Motif
apps. Not working in Netscape was annoying... but when I compiled
vim with lesstif, it was flat-out impossible. So, I found in one of
the HOWTO's that if I added :
xmodmap -e "keycode 22 = BackSpace osfBackSpace"
to my xinitrc, life would be good. :)
(And I would join the mailing list, but everything works completely
fine for me on my 3200... with the exception of Midi (but there's a
workaround for that) and suspending in save-to-disk mode (which
seems to need Windows to work)... and I don't need any extra email.)
