Don't mean to spam the list, but did you type "lilo" on the command line
after modifying the line in the lilo.conf? I know this is pretty basic so
don't take offense if I'm WAY below your level of expertiese, but sometimes
it's the little things that make it work..:) I always overlook stuff like
this.
