I recall someone having asked if the DVD cdrom worked in Linux.  Someone
replied that it worked, but I don't recall that person saying that it works
not only with ordinary CD's, but also with DVD CDs.  I booted into Linux
(slackware 3.5, kernel 2.0.34) and looked at what was mounted and found
/dev/hdc mounted on /cdrom .  Doing a "df", the /dev/hdc file system shows
4,002,750 1024 byte blocks .  I can see a regular file system in /cdrom,
with directories "audio_ts", "video_ts", "xtras", "z_iso960", and a
"pcdvd.exe" file in the root of /cdrom .  So if there is a Linux DVD player,
I should be able to view DVD movies in Linux.  Cool.
