Hi Karl,
Looks like it's getting thru the pcmcia probing but failing at the pcmcia
services init, and seems like the pcmcia was compiled for a different
kernel version. So, perhaps you can try building a kernel AND the pcmcia
services for that kernel, then put the appropriate files/drivers into the
boot/supplemental pair i.e. kernel into boot.img and the drivers into the
supp.img.

I had problems with a HD install with 5.2 (5.1 is ok) on a vfat/msdos
partition--the install couldn't load the iso88xx modules required for
msdos. If you ftp the distro onto a linux partition then it should be ok.
