By now I figure you probably already tried to recompile the kernel a few
times and probably figured out that crystal sound is a type of card, not
an addition to a card. So only crystal sound. I guess, if you put sound
blaster as well.. hmm.. I can smell conflict if anything at all. Oh yeah,
you would have to select options for both and if you put the same values
for irq and stuff it would most surely conflict. /dev/dsp /dev/audio are
required to compile the kernel at all if you have any sound support. I'm
not exactly sure why they put that option in there. Now, I didn't put in
MIDI support because I never use it. I mean that literally. I suppose
one day I might want to try to mingle a waltz beat over a foxtrot or
something, but it's not that much of a pull. Though it would sound pretty
wierd. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow. Hmm.. I'm too lazy to recompile the
whole kernel.. haha! I have sound as a module. Maybe I'll recompile in a
bit. Damnit if linux weren't so lovable I'd have a serious hole in my
life.
Hmph. Time to go mix a waltz and foxtrot....

^okay, so it's not an option.
