Excuse me? There's a downloadable burnable image? REALLY? That's
cool...I didn't know that. I"ve got the space and i've got the burner
(Wonder if I could do it on an RW disk instead of a RO disk). I don't know
tho...infomagic (my favorite cd set) generaly ships quite a lot of shit
with their dist (with the 5.0 dist they were shipping a working version of
Metro-X 4.1, and redhat powertools 5.0 (wich i've never heard of..anyone
know what the hell these are?). This isn't to mention that it ships a
fully printed copy of the entire tsx-11 site and the entirety of Sunsite on
CD as well (the linux portions of it at least). Anyway, the ftp sites
arn't a big thing (I can always get things off of those) but i've heard of
office suites and such being shipped with some of the CD's shipping 5.2
now. Anyway, where would I get a burnable image of a 5.2 cd? I'm kinda
interested..:)

I would imagine that whenever 2.2.0 comes up for download a redhat 5.3
will come around pretty shortly after. Maybe after they get to 2.2.1 or
2.2.2 though. Or maybe not. 5.2 hasn't been out for more than a month,
so I'd say it's pretty safe to go with 5.2 now though. You might be lucky
enough to get someone to burn you one of the many downloadable iso CDROM
images of 5.2. I downloaded the 5.2 a while ago with this wonderful
laptop off a t1 internet connection. I know I can get a burn of it around
here too.
