Actually, it compiles just fine. I do make configure, make all, and make
install. I'm using pcmcia-cs-3.0.8 and a compiled, running 2.2.0 kernel.
That part works fine.
But when I reboot, the lights come up on the card, but they do not flash at
all, even the one that simply shows the traffice over the network. In the
messages file in /var/logs, I see that it identifies the card name properly,
but it appearantly does not finish configuring it for the network.
I have had this same problem with an earlier kernel.
The question is how to I get the pcmcia-cs package to work with Red Hat 5.2
kernel.
