Actually, it compiles just fine.  I do make configure, make all, and make
install.  I'm using pcmcia-cs-3.0.8 and a compiled, running 2.2.0 kernel.
That part works fine.

But when I reboot, the lights come up on the card, but they do not flash at
all, even the one that simply shows the traffice over the network.  In the
messages file in /var/logs, I see that it identifies the card name properly,
but it appearantly does not finish configuring it for the network.

I have had this same problem with an earlier kernel.

The question is how to I get the pcmcia-cs package to work with Red Hat 5.2
kernel.
