[install-discuss] OpenSolaris install from CD

I am in Ubuntu and want to install Opensolaris 2009 version but I have a 
non-working CD , is there a way to convert opensolaris CD image to USB image 
like we do in UnetBootin' or is there some opensolaris derivative having USB 
image available.
