Possibly, though I think Sun's i18n folks are working on getting all the GNU iconv interfaces integrated into core Solaris. You might check on i18n-discuss. If you can't get anything there, it was the desktop folks who integrated it previously, so check on desktop-discuss to see if you can get their recipe. Danek
