I am going to but this work on hold, since I am going to build a DVD jumpstart image, but I just want to put some final notes, so I can return to it in the future to fix it. I also, checked and the last time it worked for me was the last Sun Release of the Solaris Express Release (B90) before they moved to OpenSolaris.
The problem. - Net Install Without PXE/DHCP - Use x86 SXCE /Nevada release - Microsoft DHCP/DNS - Boot off a USB device or DVD - menu.lst looks like title Solaris11 Jumstart rarp ifconfig --gateway=193.xx.xx.yy --mask=255.255.255.0 --server=193.xx.xx.xx root (nd) kernel /I86PC.Solaris_11-1/multiboot kernel/unix -B install_media=193.xx.xx.xx:/export/install module /I86PC.Solaris_11-1/x86.miniroot === The above process work successfully for Solaris 10 Reference: http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/features/articles/grub_boot_solaris.jsp (See B.3 & B.4.
