I have encountered a problem booting the install DVD for SXCE-105 on a MacPro, which happily allowed me to install from a DVD with SXCE-99, has anyone encountered this problem? It seemingly hangs after trying to identify the UART chip. It worked perfectly for B99. I "googled" around the net but didn't see anything specific on this problem.
I have upgraded the system to b105 from b99, and it boots fine so this looks like an installer issue to me. One of the folks on opensolaris-discuss thought this would be best flagged as an issue on this list. I am willing to try to help diagnose this, assuming some other viable options can be tried to work out the issue with the installer.
