Hey all,
I am trying to upgrade my 2009.06 111b install to the latest dev 118 to get
around a bug with CIFS.

I have been searching all day for an answer on this but all I have come up with
are workarounds for a ZFS bug in 96 where /opt needed to be empty. I cleared
out my /opt but still no dice.

I am performing the following:
uname -a
SunOS ralph 5.11 snv_111b i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris
pfexec pkg set-publisher -O http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev opensolaris.org
pfexec pkg image-update --be-name opensolaris-118
DOWNLOAD PKGS FILES XFER (MB)
Completed 657/657 35196/35196 547.72/547.72

be_get_uuid: failed to get uuid property from BE root dataset user properties.
pkg: image-update cannot be done on live image

You can see the error above, and I am unable to proceed further. I am aware
that the uuid error is a red herring.

The GUI fails also.

Any idea where I need to start looking?
