ok, with your help it works, after many actions. First, the raid had a problem (sub mirror needs a maintenance), perhaps it explains why i encounter problems? then i have to re-create manually right entries in /boot/grub/menu.lst to have a failsafe boot. And then, i have to reboot in b99, to repair SVM mirrors in b101, because failsafe boot doesn't know how to repair slice under SVM. thanks for your help, gerard
