Hi Trying to install b101 on VMware ESXi (3.5)
I installed Entire Dist, using zfs as root fs on completely blank (virtual) disk Tried with both "text console" and "X11 desktop" installs. In both cases systems installs all 5GB or so of S11 packages (bout 2 hours), and gets to point where creating a ramdisk (create_ramdisk -R /a ... or similar is running) Then reboots into grub boot menu, but with no OSes to choose from? Using VM with 2 GB RAM, and 1 10GB LSI virtual disk. I can change VM BIOS to reboot from CD, but there seems no "rescue" boot option? Advice? Kevin -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
