I Installed SXCE and compiled OpenSolaris from the gate. I now (seem to) have an OpenSolaris Kernel but with a SXCE Gnome Menu (and no OpenSolaris commands). I cap-eye-installed using these instructions: http://opensolaris.org/os/community/on/devref_toc/devref_5/ Problem example: # pkg -h bash: pkg: command not found # beadm -h bash: beadm: command not found As a result of this I can not use the instructions on page: http://opensolaris.org/os/project/indiana/resources/relnotes/200805/image-update/ . Is there a way to get a little bit of OpenSolaris (even from an Installer DVD) and install a few packages so I can then install the newest Beta OpenSolaris on my system with _all_ the OpenSolaris commands working when I boot into OpenSolaris (and the SXCE menu commands working when I boot up SXCE from Grub) ? Thanks, Rob_C -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
