Hi Renaud,

in order to install, you could try to launch the installer remotely
* boot LiveCD into text console
* login as jack/jack
* enable ssh
$ pfexec svcadm enable ssh

Launch the installer from other machine:
$ ssh -X jack@<IP_address_of_livecd_machine>
$ pfexec /usr/bin/gui-install

Or you could use following modified workaround
(booting livecd in VESA graphic mode):

http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/indiana/resources/relnotes/200811/x86/#6696145

I am including desktop-discuss at opensolaris.org mailing list,
since people there might provide you with more information
if there is better way to address your issue.

Thank you,
Jan
