Hi Renaud, in order to install, you could try to launch the installer remotely * boot LiveCD into text console * login as jack/jack * enable ssh $ pfexec svcadm enable ssh
Launch the installer from other machine: $ ssh -X jack@<IP_address_of_livecd_machine> $ pfexec /usr/bin/gui-install Or you could use following modified workaround (booting livecd in VESA graphic mode): http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/indiana/resources/relnotes/200811/x86/#6696145 I am including desktop-discuss at opensolaris.org mailing list, since people there might provide you with more information if there is better way to address your issue.
