Now, I have troubles with lumount being overly industrious. It creates mountpoints for my ZFS hierarchy, even though it doesn't mount the filesystems. For example, my distribution ISO images are in pool/export/ftp ZFS tree, where pool/export is explicitly mounted as /export and pool/export/ftp inherits a mountpoint as /export/ftp.
Whenever lumount is run, it creates /export/ftp (as well as any other similar mountpoints). This breaks future boots of this root filesystem because the /export ZFS filesystem can not be auto-mounted over a non-empty mountpoint (at least in older releases, checking with snv_103 now...) I wonder if this blatant creation of the tree of mountpoints can be disabled for good? I tried removing them all, but they re-appear on next lumount. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
