Is there a particular CR that we should request a call record be attached to? This is a pretty big gap that needs to be filled, else it seems as though there is no transition period between "ufs is the only viable root fs" and "zfs is the only supported root fs". I suggest that zfs is not currently viable as a root fs because revamping an automated enterprise installation environment is not a easy sell. It becomes much harder to sell when the admin or architect is saying "I want to take advantage of a feature that has increased risk due to newness while at the same time substantially increasing the time and/or labor to perform installations." It seems to me that this just gives people another reason to hold off for months or years while waiting for everyone else to shake the bugs out of Solaris 10+1. -- Mike Gerdts http://mgerdts.blogspot.com/
