Hello, I have brand new T2000 Sparc server. 2 SAS hdd's were preinstalled with OS loaded. I added two more hdd's of 146 gb each. I have removed preinstalled hdd's and set order as follows >
Bay 1 > 0 = 147 gb hdd , 1 = 73 gb hdd Bay 2 > 2 = 147 gb hdd , 3 = 73 hdd Not I insert Solaris 10 Sparc DVD and started installation. I got following message while trying to partition in 1st 147 gb hdd. Message as follows :- "This disk (c0t0d0) can not be used to install Soalris software. This disk does not have valid label. If you want to use this disk for the install, exit the Solaris Ineractive insallation program, use the format(1M) command from the command line to label the disk and type "install Soalris" to resart the installation program". I am confused how to use format(M1) command. When I boot the server i see > OK prompt And if I type format and press enter nothing happenes. Anybody can help me with this?
