I'm sorry to hear that this happened, but there's not really enough
information in that message to go about filing a bug.

Where we _know_ that the patch can't be removed, we do go to lengths
to make sure that this doesn't happen.  But bugs do in fact occur,
despite our best efforts.  And when they do, someone needs to contact
service and allow them to file the appropriate bug and (if possible)
provide a work-around.

(Granted, the same is not generally true for packages.)

For that it's worth, this is a good reason to use Live Upgrade.
You'll at least have a simple fallback position if something goes
haywire.
