Apparently I was wrong here. SUNWgnome-base-libs does have a ton of
other dependency's. In itself it may be small and inconsequential, but
when it forces you to install: (Partial list of dependencies from my
latest jumpstart)

WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWPython, which is not selected
WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWpostrun, which is not selected
WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWPython, which is not selected
WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWlibpopt, which is not selected
WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWfontconfig, which is not
selected
WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWfreetype2, which is not selected
WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWxorg-clientlibs, which is
not selected
WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWxwxft, which is not selected
WARNING: SUNWgnome-base-libs depends on SUNWgnome-base-libs-root, which
is not selected

And these from my original question...
WARNING: SUNWdbus depends on SUNWPython-extra, which is not selected
WARNING: SUNWhal depends on SUNWpolkit, which is not selected
WARNING: SUNWhal depends on SUNWhwdata, which is not selected

Then it is turning out to be niether 'tiny' nor 'inconsequential'.
