Hi, After installing and booting my new open solaris clients I find that they have acquired an IP address from our Windows DHCP server but they are registered in the Windows DNS with a blank hostname.
The systems where configured with a short non fqdn at install time. What do I need to do on the solaris or windows side to ensure the hostnames and reverse lookups are properly registered? Your advice is greatly appreciated.
