My Dell OptiPlex GX620 does not give me the option of setting another hard drive as the boot drive. The only options are to enable/disable existing devices and change boot order. Existing devices are floppy, CD-ROM and SATA hard drive. There is no specification as to which hard drive. But wouldn't GRUB be installed on drive 0, partition 0? All other boot loaders I've encountered do this because the machine starts the loader on drive 0, partition 0 after the diagnostics are completed. TIA Rick This message posted from opensolaris.org
