I think you've got something very confused there - I'm fairly sure that
it's impossible to Live Upgrade from snv_79a to 2008.05 as there is no
version of Live Upgrade that knows about IPS packaging, and the one that
knows about ZFS root isn't released yet (coming in snv_90 soon, but not
published outside Sun yet).
