   Pkg being so network entangled does not yet have an on-disk package
   so your are stuck. Though this may change in future.

   For now you can get pre-compiled Masayuki-san's driver bundle in SVR4
   package format from here:
   http://blogs.sun.com/moinakg/entry/scorched_3d_and_masayuki_san

   To my understanding pkg.opensolaris.org is not really a community
   maintained software repo. The packages here are SUN supported and
   there is quite a bit of process in getting software there including ARC
   and legal processes. It takes time. There are folks in SUN working on
   getting Masayuki-san's drivers into OpenSolaris.
