Hi First of all, I'm very new to Solaris itself and haven't much knowledge about it.
I downloaded and installed OpenSolaris 2008.05 and updated it. The update brought kernel SVN_91 with it. The "host" is a VMWare Virtual Machine client on an x86 Windows XP host. I run as stated above an /boot/solaris/bin/update_grub It started and exited without any comment, no idea what it did. Then I issued a reboot command and selected the new grub entry opensolaris-1. It did then create the error stated in the first post. What should I do now please? And please give easy instructions as I'm very new to Solaris. This message posted from opensolaris.org
