I don't believe so. LU considers everything under /opt to be BE-specific, so it forces a copy. I think it might end up merging whats in /opt/csw into the root dataset of your new BE, but someone from the ZFS boot team would need to verify this. > > I know with snap upgrades the data won't be duplicated, but I might want > different options for the nested filesystems. In snap, everything outside <pool>/ROOT/<BEname>/* is considered to be shared and won't get cloned no matter what its mountpoint is.
