Hi All: I am attempting an install the new OpenSolaris 2008.11-93 on a SUN x4200, and it fails soon after asking which desktop language to use during the initial boot, with the following:
NOTICE: alloc: /: file system full Mouting local patitions/cdroms NOTICE: realloccg: /: file system full svc.startd: Repository server out of resources. and then after a few more error messages, wants me to give the root password Notes: - I have checked the md5sum on this DVD and it is fine. - I have used this same DVD on a laptop and was able to successfully install - I have been able to install SXCE build 90 on this x4200 without a problem. - After receiving the error from OpenSolaris 2008.11-93, I reinstalled SXCE build 90 on this x4200 (again, it worked fine) - I have also tried the ILOM "CD-ROM Image..." of this iso image for the install, and had the same errors. - I had previously installed OpenSolaris 2008.05 on this x4200 without a problem. - This x4200 has 16 gig of ram, 2 SAS drives, and 2 SUN SAS HBA's installed in it.
