Hi all, I bought a 250gb (Sata2)HD few days ago. After installing xp(SP2) i proceed doing the same with sxde 79a
The installation proceeded with not hickups but after the installation it just hangs at the screen that gives me the Sun copyright info . (the very next screen after i choose to boot solaris, the system hangs at that screen) i get the Sun copyright info (the first 3 lines and thats it) Now i thought i had done some mistake during the installation so did a re-run but this time, the installation wont proceed beyond the point where i need to choose to install sxde or solaris express,(and the other options). If i use the same DVD then this problem arises, however if i use a brand new DVD then i move a couple of screens ahead and it hangs there! Hence i tried installing on vmware but it abruptly stops during the initial boot(after installation). I would like to know whats wrong and about any work around Thanks Shampavman
