If it isn't pdo.c, I'd wager that it'll take longer to release, as you
have to develop it first.

That essentially goes back to the ugliness issue.  We do need to put
some effort into releasing things, even if we're all hoping that some
of those things will get either a long-needed rewrite or a swift kick
to deleted_files.  Otherwise, we tend to freeze up.
