I agree that user data should not be on a root drive, but instead be on a 
shared filesystem, but what can you do when it was an existing implementation 
and there is no where to move it to.


The use of luactivate -s was mention, I have read the man pages and it states 
upon the first reboot (init 6) after completion the BE, a synchronization will 
occur of CERTAIN files. I did a reboot, my test file was not copied over, so I 
will assume there is a list that makes up these CERTAIN files? This will lead 
me to believe that the luactivate -s will only sync up the CERTAIN files the 
man pages mentions.
