I don't understand why that is a bug at all. I don't think there is a scrap of documentation anywhere that says that the user should expect Solaris/SNV/BeleniX/ON-foo to run or install with less than 512MB of RAM. I am of the firm opinion that a user should have 1GB RAM minimum to use Solaris at all. If someone ( like me ) decides to crush Solaris into some microscopic little appliance thing with 64MB of RAM then that is just an experiment ... nothing more. Certainly not supported. I think that the docs on this are clear and this bugid 6548184 falls into the area of "not supported and never was". Dennis Clarke
