It is confusing, you're right.  A SXCE build comes out every couple weeks.  
Every few months they release one of the SXCE builds as SXDE.  So every SXCE is 
basically a prototype SXDE.  

Sun will probably do the SXCE/SXDE stuff differently in the not-too-distant 
future, the the confusion might go away ;)
