Can someone tell me if the recently-announced starter kit is "old" or "recent"? That is, are the software on the DVD from last June, or are they more recent? Looking at the description, the DVD appears to contain various "live CDs", and the projects from which these "live CDs" were apparently derived don't appear to have been updated in some time. Also:
* There doesn't appears to be a "download ISO" link from http://get.opensolaris.org * If you do a search for "starter kit", you get this, which appears to be old: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/starterkit I'd be interested in a starter kit, but (1) I want something recent, (2) I'd prefer something downloadable, and (3) I don't want to waste Sun's money for snail-mailing me something that is old.
