Although I did not understand your question.... here are few clues: - you cannot increase the size of folder (except the whole discussion around quotas) but a partition/slice - so you may want to increase the size of /tmp, that can be done if you have some slice or empty space left on a hard drive.
- you also may need only some extra swap (you can add it with the swap command) Adrian On 6/21/07, vivek <vivek_mras at rediffmail.com> wrote: > Thanks, narendran > J2EE server installation in Nevada. > i went through the installation files, i found the installation for a tmp > folder. > My problem is actually with size of the folder that i create. why is the > folder size being limited to 81 MB only.kindly provide me a solution for > increasing the size of any folder to more than 1 GB. > > If there is no solution, what about the solaris develper edition. is it too > having the similar problems. > > kindly recommend any other forum ,if is there one. > > Thanks, > Vivek > > > This message posted from opensolaris.org > _______________________________________________ > install-discuss mailing list > install-discuss at opensolaris.org > http://opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/install-discuss >
