Sorry, the problem is that the KU now require a version of SUNWicda that is update 3 specific. ( looks like this rev changes from every realease ? ) If we produce a patch that delivers SUNWicda then we cannot have the KU depend on it, as SUNWicda is only in the miniroot, so we could never then install the KU itslef to live systems. I guess we could have the KU just call out the patch, ie if patchadd -C then echo "please install the latest rev of xxxxxx" Need to test pkgadd in relation to miniroots if we are going with a patch ( ie a patch that uses pkgadd to install a package to a miniroot ) As it's quite late in the end game for update 3, and we need a stable KU to rejuvenate off, trying a genesis approach in a KU in realtion to a miniroot might be risky. Perhaps making the package SUNWicda downloadable for now, and calling that out in the KU might be safer, although not a great customer satisfier. Enda
