I managed to patch the miniroot to support the 3C940 ethernet driver : Add driver in /kernel/drv, do the add_drv -b, and create the clone pseudo device in /devices this worked fine.
But It didn't work with the CPQary3 (proliant on-board raid controller)... I'll look closer to what is done in the CPQary3 package postinstall scripts There should be something I missed... It fails to see the disks. Maybe I forgot a pseudo device ... About this patching technique : I was wondering what should be done with nevada, since the /devices subtree is empty in the miniroot ???
