I'd hope we have learned something from that experience :-) The necessary companions to the simplification you see in this interface are the Network Automagic and Duckwater projects, which provide the methodology for automating and simplifying the discovery and configuration of the networking and nameservices used. Ultimately, what we'll want to talk about is the overall experience that we all combine to provide, and how Caiman fits within it. As we're all in various stages of design, I probably should ask the UI designers for the projects to provide a more comprehensive flow that covers these scenarios and leaves less to the imagination.
